Great interview! This book has been on my list for a while and I'm excited to pick up a copy. I've also got my eye on a book with some similar themes: "Allow Me to Introduce Myself" by Onyi Nwabineli. It's not a thriller but also explores the child influencer sphere. Can't wait to read both!

Hadn't heard of that one!!! Just added it to my Libby to-read list, thank you. If I remember correctly I think a reporter at Cosmo has a forthcoming non-fiction book about child influencers, too...

Let me know what you think about SABI when you finish it!

I seriously wish I was spending more time here -- it was just a quick overnight. I had amazing ice cream at Mayday though. (Because even given a wealth of excellent dinner options, I obviously went with ... dessert.)

Hi! First of all, I have been really enjoying your Substack - can't remember how I found it... maybe it was the post you wrote about reverse-image-searching? Happy to have found you!

But then! I was so happy to see Olivia popped up here. She's a friend but I also really loved her book - great interview.

This was the perfect author Q&A for Links! I enjoy thrillers/mysteries so now I’m all intrigued.

And thanks for the discussion around being taken less seriously the more one is online. A few years ago at a conference someone in the world of tech and influence said “I don’t trust anyone who isn’t on social.” The perspective just keeps shifting. And the awareness that the perception keeps shifting is equally profound and deflating. We’re now all Roland Barthes.
